Taylor Odle makes list of nation’s top 200 education scholars

IDS affiliate Taylor Odle recently made a list of 2026’s top-200 U.S. education scholars. The list, appearing in EdWeek, was compiled by a 27-member committee with rankings partially based on factors including Google Scholar citations, appearances in the popular press, and syllabus scores. Odle is one of three UW–Madison researchers to make this year’s list, with Gloria Ladson-Billings and Suzanne Eckes.  Odle is an assistant professor in Educational Policy Studies. He studies the economics of education and education policy, with a particular focus on college access and success, including college admissions practices, financial aid, and college advising and coaching.
