Erin is a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and a predoctoral fellow in the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Education Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received a BS in Visual Art Education from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2014 and an MS in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021. Before graduate school, she taught high school art, led student and teacher mentoring programs, and served as a local teacher association leader at a rural school in Indiana. Her research interests include LGBTQ+ student well-being, K-12 policies and practices, and rural schools.
