Biography

My research interests are diverse but primarily focus on how societal inequalities are perpetuated through online platforms, including peer production systems like Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap, and the sharing economy platforms such as Uber and Airbnb. By examining these disparities through the lens of geography, I explore the implications for production and community sustainability. Overall, I seek to understand how various design decisions and the algorithms underlying these platforms might influence who benefits from them.
