IDS Executive Director Markus Brauer hosted the first annual IDS Writing Retreat on the farm from June 6–8, 2024. The retreat, for IDS Affiliates, offered ample opportunities for writing, along with trail walks, yoga, swimming, and dinner at the North End Tavern in La Valle, Wisconsin.
Attendees included Drs. Melody Harvey, Mosi Ifatunji, Kyesha Isadore, Corey Jackson, Aziza Jones, Shamya Karumbaiah, Mollie McQuillan, Susan Passmore, and Markus Brauer.
